Those commonly referred to as “Indians” are neither native nor indigenous. They came across the Siberian land bridge roughly 10000-15000 years ago. There is no evidence that humans evolved in the Western Hemisphere. In fact, except for Antarctica, the Western Hemisphere was the last place inhabited by humans. However, there is no proper term that I can think of to replace Indians, Native Americans, or Indigenous Americans. I hope that someone else can suggest one.
